A wise man once said, "By thought, the thing you want is brought to you; by action, you receive it." One cool way of capturing your visions and projecting them into the realm of reality is to create a vision board.

Being able to imagine the impossible and translate it into tangible possibilities is the gift of a visionary. Visionaries have distinctive cognitive and sensory processes that compel them to believe that all things, within reason are possible to achieve. "According to Dr. D. B. Dillard-Wright, "We can change our lives by persistently thinking positively, and even call things into being by truly believing that they will come into our lives."

Take the first step to making your own vision "plain" and make your own vision board for a productive and purpose-drive new year.

Step 1:

What is your vision? Start as big as you like or as small. Remember, there are no limitations to your imagination. Make a list of the things you want and the actions required to attain them. Bring them to life with visuals or affirmations.

Step 2:

Placement of your vision board is key. Put your vision board in a spot where you will get the opportunity to see it everyday and will be easily reminded of your goals.

Step 3:

Put your vision in motion. Practice with consistency toward your goals. Enact a plan that will grant you the results you desire.
