Known for her appearances on Zeus Network's "Baddies" and her relationship with rapper Blueface, Rock has recently announced a significant shift in her musical career.

"I don't wanna do worldly music anymore. I just want to do gospel—hood gospel, I would say," she recently told Atlanta pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Jamal Bryant on his podcast "Let's Be Clear."

Rock released her first gospel-infused track "Hallelujah" in early 2023. She performed it for the first time at Faith City Church with Faith City Music. On Instagram, after her performance, she reported that her first word was "hallelujah." "My first word was hallelujah n made a gospel song called hallelujah," Rock said. The song blends traditional gospel themes with contemporary hip-hop elements, reflecting her unique style.

Rock's evolving musical journey has also attracted industry attention. Renowned producer Timbaland utilized Rock's vocals to create a gospel track, showcasing a fusion of hip-hop and gospel genres. This collaboration exemplifies the innovative blending of musical styles.

In November 2024, Rock shared a video of her baptism, accompanied by a message of gratitude for her Christian community. She wrote, "Thank You for cleansing my heart and welcoming me into Your family."

Through these developments, Chrisean Rock is redefining her artistic identity, merging her personal experiences with a newfound spiritual path, and contributing to the evolution of gospel music.
